6.) Safety & Service
Oversee overall care of layers including but not limited to: maintenance, Egg packing, clean up, vaccinate and record data. Responsible for: overall testing, reporting and scheduling.
Responsible for overall care of birds
Monitor computer for all house vitals (water, air, feed, lights)
Oversee adjustments of water lines, feed guards and climate controls
Responsible for disposal of daily mortality
Responsible for preventative and routine maintenance of buildings and equipment
Responsible for generator upkeep and operation
Follow all OSHA safety regulations and procedures
Perform other tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Maintaining proper feed, water, climate and living conditions in buildings
Ability to define problems, trouble shoot to make repairs
Ability to operate grounds keeping equipment
Mechanical, electrical, metal working and plumbing knowledge
